Currently the file selector, in awn-manager, looks for dot awn files by default. There are a few reasons it currently does this - the main one being that the dot awn file extension avoids all browser modification.

[edit] Gmail Applet Dependancies

The gmail applet requires the following packages:
fuse-utils
python
python-fuse
python-libgmail

Is there any way the repositories can check for this before installing the applet package?
