Feeds Applet
From AWN Wiki
[edit] InfoFeeds Applet is designed to monitor your RSS and Atom feeds and notify you of updates. Feeds are added by clicking Add Feed in either the dialog or the right-click menu. After entering the URL of the RSS or Atom feed (not the webpage of the feed), the applet will download the feed and display it in its dialog. [edit] Google Reader SupportWhen adding a feed in the dialog, you can use your Google Reader account and have all of its feeds as a single Google Reader feed in the applet dialog. If your Google Reader feed is the only feed, the applet icon turns blue by default, as seen on the left. Also, after logging in to Google Reader, you can search for feeds using Google Reader's search service. This is available from the Add Feed dialog.[edit] Drag and DropFeeds Applet supports drag and drop in two ways. You can drag a link to a site's RSS or Atom feed and drop it on the applet to add that feed to your list. You can also drag and drop the feeds in the applet dialog to reorder them. You can also drag a feed out of the dialog and drop a link to it in, for example, a browser window. |
