[edit] Network Manager Applet
The project has developed a highly alpha applet that uses dbus to control the NetworkManager interface in both Gnome and KDE. The projects trunk contains a version that is working but has limited connection support. The major hurdle this project is seeing is the lack of NetworkManager dbus api documentation for encrypted wireless networks.
